Elder Thomas E. Babbitt - Missionary Blog

Elder Thomas E. Babbitt (Tommy to all who know him) entered the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah on April 30, 2008. There he studied and prepared to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for the next 24 months. Tommy is serving in the Colorado Springs, Colorado mission which encompasses about half of Colorado, half of Kansas, and a small part of New Mexico and Oklahoma.

This blog was created in order to share updates about Elder Babbitt's mission and experiences with all of his friends and family. Come back often!

An Email From Elder Babbitt - first P-Day

We recieved our first email from Elder Babbitt today - finally! I know, it's only been a week. He tells us that although he was pretty overwhelmed the first few days, he is settling in to missionary life and is very happy. He can't wait to get to Colorado and begin the work. He says the Spirit is very strong in the MTC, and his testimony has grown a lot since he has been there.

Its good to see that mom and dad have finally heard from Tommy, and that he is adjusting well to missionary life. He's going to do very well. He has the fire in him.
